Greetings from Tommy Cooper,
WELCOME to the Southern Cooper lifestyle blog, I started this blog in 2020 (during COVID) because I couldn’t find a lot of black gay blogs that spoke to my inner nerd, travel adventures, positive relationships, yoga fitness, meditation, gardening and love of Southern home cooking all in one. I wanted a place to call my own and focus on the positive attributes of our culture. I rallied up my friends to brainstorm on what topics to discuss and Southern Cooper was born.
Southern Cooper is dedicated to altering the perception of what society believes/thinks being black, gay, trans, queer, nonbinary, bi represents. Our goal is to uplift others and our culture as we change the world through insightful articles and visually appealing representation of Black Gays, Trans, Queer, Nonbinary, Bi, and our Allies. Additionally, we are intention on promoting an environment full of sharing our stories, laughter, and spreading the love for our Black Gay Fabulous Culture.
No, this blog isn’t all about being gay or in-between; we do dive into topics that are relatable to everyone. Enjoy and interact with us as we build our network and create a space for us and those that support us. We challenge you to evoke more graceful candor, happiness and kindness in this world.
Please reach out below if you have any comments, questions, or feel like you’d want to join our writing team. Also, if you are (LGBTQIA, Woman, even Straight) owned business that is affirming, please reach out so we can promote your business. Sometimes, its good to know who supports our culture.
